LCC seeks cast for ‘The Boys Next Door’ Oct. 11-12
Laredo Community College will hold auditions for the college student production of “The Boys Next Door” on October 11 and 12 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Arena Theater, located inside the LCC Adkins Building, room 150.
“Those interested in auditioning may prepare a one minute monologue or simply come ready to do cold-readings,” said Instructor Floyd Reed. “All members of the campus community are invited to audition, with preference given to students.”
The theater production is the story of an overworked social worker and his four mentally challenged charges, said Reed.
“(The social worker) is rapidly becoming burned out, and has to make a decision about his future, and how that will impact the men he cares for,” explained Reed.
Individuals interested in design, crew or stage management are encouraged to join.
