Laredo Community College is meeting the demand for a popular college level transfer course in English. A new section for Composition I (ENGL1301M39) has been added, and opportunity to register for this course is underway.
“The Composition I class is the 39th course section offered on the LCC downtown campus to meet a great student demand,” said Dr. Nora Garza, Dean of Arts and Sciences.
The course requires the study and mastery of the basic principles of effective expository and persuasive writing. The class is part of the Core Curriculum Inventory of courses and essential for most college degree plans.
To register for the class, the prospective student must first receive an approval by visiting the Dean of Arts and Sciences, located in Arechiga Hall, room 109. Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 to 6 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. The office phone number is 721-5823.
