Federal official visits LCC Child Development Center
The new Camilo Prada Child Development Center of Laredo Community College received words of praise from Windy M. Hill, associate commissioner of the federal Head Start Bureau, who was in Laredo last week attending an array of Border Bi-national Health Week activities. Hill toured the state-of-the-art child care facilities, located at the LCC South campus. Among those present for the tour were, L-R, Center Director Gloria Castillo, Dean of LCC South Francisco Martinez Jr., Instructor Priscilla Garcia, Child Development Department Chair Gloria Juarez, Associate Commissioner Hill, Dean of Workforce Education Fred Solis Jr., and Chief Development Officer Blas Castaņeda.
