LCC to host Open House at new south campus
Recent high school graduates and returning adult students will have an opportunity on Thursday, August 19, to explore the educational benefits available at Laredo Community College South this fall. College staff will host an Open House on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at LCC’s second campus, located at 5500 South Zapata Highway. The entire family is invited to attend.
There will be an opportunity to meet staff, tour the state-of-the-art campus facilities and learn about registration for LCC South’s inaugural semester of college courses. Fall classes start August 30.
Prospective students will be able to pick up information from the offices of admissions, financial aid and academic/career counseling.
Another feature will include short informational presentations by the South Texas Tech Prep program for high school students, parents and prospective college students.
There will also be opportunities to win exciting door prizes. Complimentary refreshments will be provided, courtesy of the South Texas Tech Prep program.
