Tonight’s presentation of the Laredo Distinguished Artist concert has been canceled. One of the performers, Dr. Susan Liu, fell and sustained an injury that will not allow her to perform.

    The event was scheduled for Wednesday, March 31, at 7:30 p.m. in the Guadalupe and Lilia Martinez Fine Arts Center on the Laredo Community College campus.

    Event organizers will notify the community if a new date is scheduled for this concert.

    “We wish Dr. Liu a speedy recovery,” said Danuta U. Gazdyszyn, chairperson of the Music and Dance Department at LCC.
