Supporting music education at LCC
Paul Young Auto Group was recently recognized for serving as the major sponsor of Laredo Community College’s Viva el Mariachi Festival and Competition, held on October 29 and 30. The two-day mariachi extravaganza included an ensemble and vocal competition, master classes for middle/high school and college musicians and a special concert featuring Grammy-nominated Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez. The generous $20,000 contribution from Paul Young Auto Group provided valuable support toward the advancement of music education and student scholarships. LCC officials recently expressed their gratitude to the Young family.
