Summer class advisement through April 27

College career advisement for summer classes at Laredo Community College will continue on Monday, April 26, and Tuesday, April 27.

Advisement is the period when students visit with a faculty member or career counselor to select the courses needed to satisfy a degree plan. It is required before any student, who is unable to self advise for classes, can register.

Early advisement is available to all students in department offices from 1 to 6 p.m.  If a student does not know where to obtain early advisement, they can call 721-5109.  Students who plan to register for Summer Session II should be advised for courses now.

This early advisement allows students to register with the college’s On Line Enrollment (OLÉ) services by web (http://ole.laredo.edu) or phone (721-5100) now through May 6 and gives them the advantage to select their courses before they become filled.  The OLÉ services are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., including weekends.

Early registration for Summer Session I at LCC is also available to those students who can self advise for classes.

Students who register early for Summer I must pay tuition and fees by May 17 at the LCC Bursar’s Office, located in University Hall, room 121.

Summer Session I begins on May 31, and continues through June 30.  Final exams are on July 1.

The schedule of courses for both summer sessions is available online at www.laredo.edu and at the LCC Admissions/Registration Office, located in University Hall, room 125.

For more information, contact the LCC Admissions/Registration Office by calling 721-5109.  Office hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
