Early registration for the first summer session at Laredo Community College begins Monday, April 5. The schedule of courses for both summer sessions is available online at www.laredo.edu.
Summer I registration for self-advised students is from April 5 through May 6. These students have two options to register for classes with the college’s On Line Enrollment (OLÉ) system. They can register on the World Wide Web at http://ole.laredo.edu, or they can register by phone by dialing 721-5100 from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
All students who have earned at least nine college level hours, have declared their academic major, and have satisfied the new Texas Success Initiative (TSI) requirements are considered “self advised” and can register using OLÉ now through May 6.
All other students are required to see an advisor in the department for their major, or a college career counselor, before they can register. This early advisement allows students to register by web or phone through May 6 and gives them the advantage to select their courses before they become filled.
Early advisement is available to all students in department offices April 13 to 15, April 19 to 22 and April 26-27 from 1 to 6 p.m. If a student does not know where to obtain early advisement, they can call 721-5109.
Students who register early for Summer I must pay tuition and fees by May 17 at the LCC Bursar’s Office, located in University Hall, room 121.
Summer Session I begins on May 31, and continues through June 30. Final exams are on July 1.
The Summer 2004 Class schedule is available online at www.laredo.edu and at the LCC Admissions/Registration Office, located in University Hall, room 125.
For more information, contact the LCC Admissions/Registration Office by calling 721-5109. Office hours are Mondays through Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
