Martinez gift promotes theater arts at LCC
A gift from the Guadalupe and Lilia Martinez Foundation will secure future scholarships for Laredo Community College students who study stage craft in conjunction with productions presented by Laredo Musical Theatre International. Family members recently gathered to present a gift for $30,000 to Sam Johnson, Jr., who served as producer of the musical FAME which was staged September 10-12 in the LCC Martinez Fine Arts Center.
