Area
citizens now have a unique opportunity to enjoy six overnight trips to watch
exciting Laredo Community College baseball action on the road.
For
the first time ever, the LCC Athletics Department is offering a chance for
Palomino fans to travel with the team.
LCC Head Baseball Coach John
Maley says that Palomino fans who take advantage of this unique offer will be
able to enjoy overnight accommodations at the team hotel, join the team at meal
time, and listen in on important strategy sessions and team meetings.
Palomino
fans will join the LCC baseball team and travel partner Transportes Chihuahua
on a deluxe motor coach to destinations, including Houston, Brownsville,
Galveston and others. The chartered
bus is fully equipped with TV/VCR and restroom accommodations.
For $50 per trip, the guest
receives free admission to all games played during the trip; and one round-trip
aboard the chartered bus.
For
$100 per trip, the guest receives free admission to all games played during the
trip; one round-trip on the motor coach; and five appetizing meals with the
Palominos at the team restaurant.
For
$200 per trip, the guest traveler receives free admission to all games played
during the trip; one round-trip on the bus; five meals with the Palominos at the
team restaurant; and two nights accommodations at the LCC baseball team hotel.
The first trip will be Feb. 14-15 to Alvin. The others will be to San Jacinto (Feb. 28-29), Wharton (March 13-14), Brenham (March 20-21), Galveston (April 8-9) and Brownsville (April 24-25).
