The LCC libraries provide books and other media to support the academic disciplines taught at LCC.  There may be times, however, when you will want additional materials from other libraries.  Using the Interlibrary Loan service, you can request titles that the LCC libraries do not have.  You may also request articles that we do not have in full-text.  The delivery time varies, but on average the items are received in 5-7 days.

Go to the library home page at www.laredo.edu/library and click on Intra/ILL Request.

Then click on Interlibrary Loan Request.

If you are requesting a book, fill in the “Book Request” portion of the form.

If you are requesting an article, fill in the “Periodical Request” portion of the form. Contact a librarian or reference assistant for the necessary information.

Then fill in the “For All Requests” portion of the form.  You must include your name and contact information in order for the request to be processed.

Click Submit.

A confirmation page will be displayed.  Print a copy for your records.

You must complete one form per item requested.  If you need assistance, do not hesitate to contact a librarian or reference assistant.
