Statistical Graphs

Activity Name	Activity Description
Simple Plot	Students input a list of ordered pairs of numbers which are plotted by the applet either as scatter or connected plots.
Histogram	Students view histograms for either given or user-specified data sets and can adjust class interval size. Discussion can focus on how interval size can influence interpretation of the graph.
Stem and Leaf Plotter	Students input a data set and view and associated stem-and-leaf plots provided by the applet. Students can also use the applet to verify their own calculations for mean, median and mode of the data set.
Plop It!	Students use a point-and-click interface to build a histogram of number values. The applet calculates and displays updated values for mean, median, and mode as numbers are added to the plot.
