• PURPOSE - To provide financial assistance to eligible minority and female students
  who intend to work for the Texas Department of Transportation in civil engineering
  or any other profession identified by the department.
  
  
• CRITERIA
  
  
  • Major - Engineering and other majors identified by the Texas Department
    of Transportation
  • G.P.A. - Maintain an overall GPA of at least a 2.5
  • Citizenship - U. S. -Texas resident
  • Classification - College Undergraduates
  • Enrollment Status - Full Time
  • Be a minority or a female
    
    
• AMOUNT - Tuition and fees and a stipend will be determined by the Texas
  Department of Transportation.
  
  
• SPECIAL CONDITIONS
  
  
  • Complete all required forms
  • Intend to work for the department for two academic
    years immediately following the date of receipt of an
    eligible degree.
  • Declare an intent to seek a BA Degree from an institution
    in the State of Texas.
