LAREDO CARES 2.❤ WORKFORCE TRAINING PROGRAM

Laredo College and the City of Laredo have joined forces to address the need for workforce training in our community. In light of the economic impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had in our community, a skilled workforce is an essential part of revitalizing our economy. By offering new skills training, people in our community will have an increased opportunity of social mobility and financial stability, especially those who were laid-off, furloughed or underemployed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This partnership will allow eligible participants to choose from a wide-ranging set of high-skilled programs and become certified in a span of less than six months. There are 27 short-term programs offered at Laredo College that have been identified due to their high-demand in the job market.
