Scholarships are awarded based on academics, athletics, academics, financial need, campus/community activities, and/or leadership positions. They are designed to reward, encourage, and assist students to pursue academic excellence and leadership roles.

Financial Aid Resources

College for All Texans	College for All Texans is a site designed to inform Texas students about the different sources available to them in their pursuit of higher education.
FastWeb	Fast web is a financial aid resource site available for students to find different resources to assist them with covering their tuition and fees. The site includes a new comprehensive FAFSA section to inform students and parents on how they can fill out their financial aid application. Frequently asked questions are published to guide the student on how to fill out and complete their FAFSA application. This search engine contains a database of scholarships that matches the students based on their personal information and their needs. Students would have to register and complete a profile.
Scholarships & Resources for LGBTQIA+ Students	Our page showcases 20 scholarship opportunities for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, along with a set of valuable resources, advocacy groups and professional networks to further help throughout their college and career journey. Money Geek	Many other scholarships tools out there require that students register for an account and go through a lengthy quiz to customize their results, or else they are full of out-of-date information. Money Greek really wants students to find quickly what awards students are eligible for, so there's no registration of any kind needed in order to search, and the scholarships have included recently validated.
NerdScholar	We built our scholarship tool out of frustration with other tools that manipulate students with advertisements, sell personal information, and do not always have the most up to date information, which makes students lose time when applying. Our tool is committed to helping students find the right scholarships so they can fulfill their educational goals.

Laredo College General Scholarship Application	The Laredo College General Scholarship awards students with the help of several organizations that provide assistance. To be considered an applicant, the student must have completed an admissions application with the Office of Admissions, be in good academic and disciplinary standing as well as other requirements indicated by the organization providing award. The Advocates Scholarship	At the Advocates, we are committed to continual education and believe that through education we better our community and ourselves. Write 300-500 word essay and all prospective or current students enrolled in an accredited university or college, located in the United States. The scholarship is for $1,000 and offered biannually. Allied Van Lines Military Scholarship Opportunity	The first ever-Military Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Operational Management Scholarship, available to all those current or former active duty military and their dependents who qualify. Two lucky winners will be selected to be awarded a total of $1,000 each. Submit a brief essay of between 400 and 800 words, detailing why a career in logistics/supply chain management is your college major of choice. A personalized tone. We want to know why you truly believe in logistics as the best career path for you. Submit copy of your most recent transcripts, verification of enrollment of your college, essay and a copy of their DD214 (member 4) or signed letter from command certifying active duty status. AmericanTrucks Student Scholarship	2 x $2,500 scholarships to students pursuing a career in construction management or the traditional building trades such as HVAC, carpentry, electrical, or related fields of study. One scholarship will be awarded every spring semester, followed by one additional scholarship to be awarded for the fall semester each year. USDA Promise Scholars Scholarship	Laredo College LEAPS is offering the PROMISE Scholarship. Scholarship is for any student interested in completing their degree in Food, Agriculture, Natural Resources and Human Science (FANH) at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Maximum scholarship is $5,000 per academic year ($2,500 for Fall & $2,500 for Spring). Amount awarded will be based on the scholarship application, your FAFSA application, your college admission application and the LEAPS/STEM Scholars program application. Scholarships for LGBTQ+ Students	Scholarship awards in this list are specifically set for the LBGTQ+ community. All of them cover vocational and trade school, and many of them extend to any tuition-based education program. This resources also includes tips for searching for other scholarship and grant opportunities and ways to pay for school without scholarships.	Open
HACU Deloitte Scholarship	The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is partnering with Deloitte to award scholarships to eligible undergraduate and graduate students. Students at HACU-member institutions can apply for one of the fifteen ($10,000) Deloitte Future Leaders Scholarships to be awarded. The Deloitte Future Leaders Scholarships are available to students majoring in accounting, business (e.g., business admin, finance, economics, computer science, management information systems) and technology related degrees. Cesar Chavez Memorial Scholarship

The Cesar Chavez Memorial Scholarship is offered to migrant farmworker student in an accredited high school program preparing to graduate and transition to post-secondary education or training. (b) You are a migrant farmworker who has not completed high school. You wish to request assistance to gain your High School Equivalency Certificate or pursue your post-secondary education or skills/career training. Please print clearly the following information. Lamar Bruni Vergara Scholarship Application

The Lamar Bruni Vergara Scholarship will be applied to tuition, fees, and book costs in the recipients’ field of study. Scholarship funds will cover 85 percent of the total tuition, fees, and book costs or $2,500 whichever is less. Students must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher by the end of each semester. The courses enrolled must apply towards the progress of the degree plan.
