Laredo Community College
is committed to providing students with numerous opportunities to seek a
career. Career Services is dedicated to providing students opportunities for
career exploration, access to career resources, and direct contact with
employers. Our institution prides itself in affording students the
resources to make well-informed decisions regarding their career goals.
The Student Success Center staff provides assessment
interpretation, course selection, academic advisement, and career exploration
to first-time students, students with undeclared majors, and students planning
to transfer to a four-year institution. Our newly added Career and Transfer
Center develops and offers students several programs and services to assist
in the exploration of various transfer and career opportunities.
Students seeking more information should visit the Student
Success Center in room 201 of the Lerma-Peña Building at the Ft. McIntosh
Campus. At the South Campus, students can visit room A-116 in the Billy Hall
The Office of the
Registrar offers services to graduation candidates to assist in preparing for a
career. Students who apply for graduation will be directly offered these services.
Services include resume and cover letter building, interview preparation, job
search resources, developmental workshops, professional dress guides and more.
Students seeking these
services can visit the Office of the Registrar in room 160 of the Lerma-Peña Building
at the Ft. McIntosh Campus.
