Laredo College has been closely monitoring the weather advisory alert issued for the community this week. The health and safety of our college community is our highest priority. Considering low temperatures, dangerous road conditions, and numerous power outages, both Laredo College campuses will be closed the rest of the week. Regular campus activities will resume on Monday February 22, 2021, assuming power to both campuses has been restored. All employees scheduled to work on campus will work remotely. Due to extended power outages at both campuses, access to campus is restricted.

Students, be aware that power outages on our campuses have caused limited access to PasPort and Canvas. Once access has been restored, check with your instructors for modifications to course deadlines. Students with on-campus instruction should check with their instructors for schedule changes.

We encourage everyone in our community to stay warm, safe, and vigilant. Please stay tuned to our social media platforms, email, and text messages for more updates regarding this developing situation.
