(QBCU) Training Program

This 100-hour comprehensive course is dedicated to an emphasis on the significance of accounting as the true groundwork for professional, educational, vocational, and business objectives within a manual and computerized environment. The program develops learners’ abilities to apply basic bookkeeping concepts and techniques that will enable them to analyze business transactions and financial documents to accurately prepare reports for the users of financial information. It also introduces learners to QuickBooks. Most businesses will usually require some form of bookkeeping software to keep their books and records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). With this course, learners will apply their newly acquired knowledge by inputting financial source document information into QuickBooks and understanding how each form of input creates completed transactions. This software may be utilized to create business files, forecast cash flow, produce profit and loss statements, track income and expenses by jobs or departments and much more. A basic understanding of bookkeeping and the functions of this software will reduce mistakes and will provide good financial information for the business owner, managers, customers, investors, and creditors. The course objectives will prepare learners for the QuickBooks Certified User Exam (QBCU).
