Laredo College spring registration is now underway! Prospective and returning students may start the enrollment and registration process to attend the #1 community college in Texas. Classes begin on Jan. 11.

Credited for offering students affordable tuition, LC has diverse associate degree programs and a wide array of certifications.

Our institution serves students from all walks of life, including those who are new or are returning to college. Academic studies are transferrable to public state universities while technical programs offer the necessary instruction to develop skills in varied fields such as business management, electrical technology, welding, child development, culinary arts, automotive and diesel mechanics, cosmetology and computer technology to prepare to enter the workforce or become future entrepreneurs.

Students enrolled in the health sciences programs graduate prepared to serve their community, or may choose to continue their education to complete a bachelor’s degree in nursing or other health sciences careers. Nursing students graduate with the honor of having attended the college with the #1 Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Program in Texas.

Laredo College also offers cutting-edge cybersecurity technology that serves as a major tool to prepare students  to enter this exciting and continuously evolving field. Laredo College is a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education as designated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security because of the quality education offered.  LC will also launch their newest Homeland Security Studies program this spring.

These high-quality, accredited programs are a staple of our extensive online and on-campus curriculum. LC’s certified online instruction implements Quality Matters, a nationally recognized, faculty-centered peer review process designed to certify the quality of online courses and online components.

Additionally, students can still enjoy all the services provided at the college, such as 24/7 tutoring, access to digital library books and catalogs, counseling services, technical support, parking lot Wi-Fi services at both campuses and more.

Financial aid and scholarships are available to qualifying students. Students are encouraged to apply for these financial resources as soon as possible to ensure that their classes and other educational expenses are covered prior to the beginning of the semester. Payment plans are also available.
