Laredo College announces Easter break closure, urges adherence to COVID-19 prevention measures

The Laredo College District will be closed from Friday, April 2 to Monday, April 5 in observance of the Easter holiday.

“Our students and employees are looking forward to enjoying their Easter break after an eventful year,” Laredo College President Dr. Ricardo J. Solis said. “Although our state has lifted all mandated restrictions, this is not the time to put our guard down. As we prepare to increase our hybrid and face-to-face instruction during the summer and further increase in-person instruction in the fall, we encourage our college family and everyone in our community to continue following the COVID-19 health and safety guidelines outlined by our federal, state and local health authorities. These include frequent hand-washing, use of face coverings and social distancing.”

College offices at both campuses will resume operations on Tuesday, April 6 at 8 a.m. Prospective students interested in learning more about Laredo College’s award-winning degrees and certifications can visit
