Laredo College has teamed up with the Laredo International Fair & Exposition (L.I.F.E.) and Texas Community Bank to launch the Jerome Jordan L.I.F.E. Rancher of the Year Scholarship Fund.

L.I.F.E. and Texas Community Bank contributed $11,000 toward the fund and the Laredo College Education Foundation matched this amount, bringing the total to $22,000. The funds will benefit Laredo College students that actively participate in L.I.F.E. event activities and are passionate about ranching.

On Friday, March 26, Laredo College Board President Lupita Zepeda and Laredo College President Dr. Ricardo J. Solis welcomed Mr. Jordan and members from the L.I.F.E board and Texas Community Bank for a check presentation ceremony and personally thanked each of them for this generous donation and for making a positive impact in the lives of Laredo College students.
