Scholarships 

Scholarships are awarded based on academics, a combination of athletics, academics, financial need, campus/community activities, and leadership positions.    
Scholarships are designed to reward, encourage and assist students to pursue academic excellence and leadership roles.

Laredo College General Scholarship Application

The Laredo College General Scholarship awards students with the help of several organizations that provide assistance. To be considered an applicant, the student must have completed an admissions application with Enrollment and Registration Services Center, be in good academic and disciplinary standing as well as other requirements indicated by the organization providing award. For more information, please contact the Student Financial Aid & Veteran Student Affairs Services Center at 956.721.5361 or 956.794.4361.

The HotelCheap Scholarship Program

In addition to being a Cheap Lodging provider, HotelCheap is offering college scholarships for students aspiring to achieve a college education. Having attended college ourselves, we appreciate the difficulty student’s face in financing their education, and we recognize the benefits a college degree can provide. That is why our need-based scholarship rewards students who are looking to better themselves, who have goals and dreams, and who are committed to achieving a college degree. US students who are 16 years of age or older are encouraged to apply for our scholarships. High school students, undergraduate students, master degree students, and adult learners are all encouraged to apply.

Elite Rehab Placement is offering a $1.000 scholarship to students who are considering a career in psychology, substance abuse counseling, or affected by an addiction in some way. Write a 1,000 words essay focusing on drug addiction.  This can be focus on a specific location, group of people, type of drug or it can be written from personal experience. Post the article to your blog or your own website.  Include at least 3 links citing authoritative sources on addiction research, including 1 link to www.EliteRehabPlacement.com. This scholarship is open to all Life Science students as long as their Institution is our partner in this campaign. At the Advocates, we are committed to continual education and believe that through education we better our community and ourselves. Allied Van Lines Military Scholarship Opportunity

The first ever-Military Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Operational Management Scholarship, available to all those current or former active duty military and their dependents who qualify.  Two lucky winners will be selected to be awarded a total of $1,000 each. Submit a brief essay of between 400 and 800 words, detailing why a career in logistics/supply chain management is your college major of choice.  A personalized tone. We want to know why you truly believe in logistics as the best career path for you. Submit copy of your most recent transcripts, verification of enrollment of your college, essay and a copy of their DD214 (member 4) or signed letter from command certifying active duty status. A Place for Mom Scholarship

 

A Place for Mom is proud to offer a scholarship to college and university students interested in the fields of aging and gerontology. The annual scholarship award is for four students enrolled in a certificate, associate’s degree, bachelor's degree or graduate level program in a medical, nursing, or social sciences related major. The student must be planning to pursue a career that involves working with senior citizens. This scholarship will accept entries from students throughout the school year.
