Scholarships are awarded based on academics, a combination of athletics, academics, financial need, campus/community activities, and leadership positions. They are designed to reward, encourage and assist students to pursue academic excellence and leadership roles.

Laredo College General Scholarship Application

The Laredo College General Scholarship awards students with the help of several organizations that provide assistance. To be considered an applicant, the student must have completed an admissions application with Enrollment and Registration Services Center, be in good academic and disciplinary standing as well as other requirements indicated by the organization providing award. For more information, please contact the Student Financial Aid & Veteran Student Affairs Services Center at 956.721.5361 or 956.794.4361. 



School Soup’s Scholarship

School Soup is the most comprehensive free online scholarship resource for private and college/university specific scholarships available to assist students in obtaining a higher education. 



College Board

College Board provides an online tool to help students search for scholarships, internships, grants, and loans. Students will answer a questionnaire that will match them to potential scholarships that complement their education level, talents, and background information. 



College for All Texans

College for All Texans is a site designed to inform Texas students about the opportunities available to them in their pursuit of higher education. It provides valuable information about financial assistance available to students of Texas, including a listing of potential scholarship opportunities.

Fast Web is a scholarship search engine that matches students to scholarships within their database that complement their personal information and meet their needs. All students have to do is register and complete their profile. 


We have built a new comprehensive Financial Aid section on Fastweb. Our easy to navigate pages have student focused topics that include how to apply for the FAFSA, state student aid deadlines, informative articles and more. Many other scholarships tools out there require that students register for an account and go through a lengthy quiz to customize their results, or else they are full of out-of-date information. Money Greek really wants students to find quickly what awards students are eligible for, so there's no registration of any kind needed in order to search, and the scholarships have included recently validated.

MBA Scholarship

Prospective Master of Business Administration (MBA) students typically pursue a graduate education to improve their career outcomes. Regardless of gender, race or financial need, external scholarships are available to students applying to business school. Each business school has regulations on how general MBA scholarships can be apply to tuition, related costs, such as book or technology fees. 



Scholarship for Women

Elite Rehab Placement is offering a $1.000 scholarship to students who are considering a career in psychology, substance abuse counseling, or affected by an addiction in some way. Write a 1,000 words essay focusing on drug addiction.  This can be focus on a specific location, group of people, type of drug or it can be written from personal experience. Post the article to your blog or your own website.  Include at least 3 links citing authoritative sources on addiction research, including 1 link to www.EliteRehabPlacement.com. Anitbodies.com Annual Life Science Scholarship

This scholarship is open to all Life Science students as long as their Institution is our partner in this campaign. Student must be studying life science degree (i.e. Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree), must complete the application form for Antibodies.com Annual Life Science Scholarship online at antibodies.com. The Advocates Scholarship

At the Advocates, we are committed to continual education and believe that through education we better our community and ourselves. The first ever-Military Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Operational Management Scholarship, available to all those current or former active duty military and their dependents who qualify.  Two lucky winners will be selected to be awarded a total of $1,000 each. Submit a brief essay of between 400 and 800 words, detailing why a career in logistics/supply chain management is your college major of choice.  A personalized tone. A Place for Mom Scholarship


A Place for Mom is proud to offer a scholarship to college and university students interested in the fields of aging and gerontology. The annual scholarship award is for four students enrolled in a certificate, associate’s degree, bachelor's degree or graduate level program in a medical, nursing, or social sciences related major. The student must be planning to pursue a career that involves working with senior citizens. This scholarship will accept entries from students throughout the school year. Granite Recovery Center
Hope you're in good health these days. As you know tuition costs aren't easy to cover sometimes, this is why we are very excited to be offering TWO $1,000 scholarships to any student pursuing a college or university degree (Associate’s, Bachelor, Master, Doctorate), or a trade certification in a technical institution. The eligibility requirements for both scholarships are the same, the difference lies with the essay prompts. Our GMTC Essay Prompt asks students to write about their passions and talents, something very straight forward and general in nature. We are a mental health and addiction treatment organization, dedicated to helping those struggling with substance abuse, this is why we felt our GRC Essay Prompt needed to be a little bit different and cover addiction prevention and education. This scholarship is for student who identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community and are U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident. Nursing Scholarship for Men
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, women make up more than 85% of the nursing field, making their male counterparts a staggering minority. For more equal representation, it is important that we encourage men to pursue the field regardless of stigmas, and an ideal way to do so is by providing them with financial resources.
