Laredo Community College has partnered with local and regional school districts to provide eligible high school juniors and seniors with the opportunity to earn up to 12 college credits before high school graduation. Courses offered for dual credit must be identified by LCC as college level academic courses and will merge Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) with college level competencies. In order to meet eligibility, students must satisfy the minimum standards under the provisions of the Texas Success Initiative or through waivers and exemptions allowed by the state. In addition, the student must meet all the college’s regular prerequisite requirements designated for the dual credit course.
For more information on dual credit please contact the Enrollment & Registration Services Center at 721-5109.
