This standing is assigned to students who were on warning and whose overall GPA fell below 2.0 for a second consecutive term. This status prohibits students from registering at the institution for one long term (fall or spring). However, students have the option to appeal their suspension by submitting an online Academic Appeal Application via
Academic Appeal. Thereafter, the Academic Appeals Committee reviews all applications and determines if students will be afforded an opportunity to enroll once more at the institution. (For the summer terms, students are not required to submit an Academic Appeal Application.)
