The Laredo College Economic Development Center's (EDC) mission is to enhance the economic growth and global competitiveness of Laredo and the South Texas region through high quality education, training, and services focusing on continuous workforce improvement, technology deployment, and business development. To carry out this mission, the EDC has developed partnerships with individual businesses, industry associations, community colleges, community-based organizations, and local governments.
