Laredo College Spring 2021 Momentum Program  

Complete 12 credit hours Fall 2020 and get one 3 credit hours Spring 2021 course for FREE!   

If you enrolled full-time (12 hours minimum) during the Fall 2020, you may be eligible to participate in the Laredo College (LC) Momentum Program for Spring 2021. Students who earned 12 credit hours at the end of Fall 2020 may be eligible to receive reimbursement for a 3 credit hour course Spring 2021 (conditions apply; see requirements below). This is a fantastic opportunity for eligible students in their onward educational progression towards a timely graduation.

If you meet the LC Momentum Program requirements for Spring 2021 and after the credit is applied, students receiving Financial Aid will be able to enjoy up to an additional $500 or more in their refunds (refund will vary by student depending on their personal financial aid status). Don’t delay and register for Spring 2021 today, and take full advantage of the Laredo College Momentum Program!

Eligibility Criteria (must meet these conditions):

  • Be a high school graduate as evidenced by a High School Diploma or its equivalent
  • Completed 12 credit hours in the Fall 2020 term
  • Must have earned a cumulative 2.0 GPA for the Fall 2020 term
  • Earned a 2.0 overall GPA at the end of Fall 2020
  • Be enrolled for 12 credit hours Spring 2021
  • Committed to pay your Spring 2021 tuition via financial aid, scholarships, or personal finances.

Course/Registration

  • Laredo College agrees to cover the tuition and fees for a 3 credit hour academic course during Spring 2021.
  • The 3 credit hour course must fall in line with the student’s program of study/degree plan. 

Student Tuition Account

Any outstanding balance owed prior to Spring 2021 must be cleared before the 3-credit hour course can be credited on your student account.

Tuition and fee credit equivalent to a 3-credit hour academic course (in-district rate not to exceed $500) will be reflected on the student’s account after Friday, March 26, 2021.
