Overview

The Associate of Science in Cyber Defense at Laredo college will provide a formative understanding of Information Security concepts and industry best practices. You'll learn about information security strategies, scripting, ethical hacking, vulnerability assessment, risk management, threat modeling, and network defense techniques that will make a difference in an organization cybersecurity posture. Through hands-on activities and live-fire scenarios you’ll develop a intimate understand of information security operations and how to effectively defend an organization from cyber-attacks.

The program will help prepare student for a career in the board field of information security field, as a Security Architect, Information Security Analysts, or Cyber Security Operations Center Analyst, working with Federal, State or private agencies.
