Welding Assistant Certificate
Overview
Laredo College's Welding Program is an intensive program that offers classroom instruction and hands on practical excercises. The Welding Assistant Certificate award exposes students to the multiple processes in the welding industry. The Welding Assistant Certificate award leads to a multi semester welding certificate in either combination structural welding or combination pipe welding.

Information
This certificate is designed to prepare students to enter the welding field as professionals in a variety of welding venues. The program teaches you the fundamentals of the different welding processes. The students will participate in hands on and mock up welding situations. Students in the Welding Program will have to purchase personal hand tools and welding gear such as welding gloves, welding jacket, goggles, and welding helmet.
