Mission Statement
The Academic Innovation & Technology (AIT) Division at Laredo College fosters student success and academic excellence by providing high-quality, innovative support in instructional technology, distance education, and faculty professional development. Aligned with Laredo College's mission, the AIT Division leverages emerging technologies and collaborative strategies to empower students and faculty, equipping them with the tools to thrive in an evolving educational landscape and positively impact local, regional, national, and global development.
The Academic Innovation & Technology Division oversees the eLearning & Instructional Innovation Center, the Center of Teaching Excellence and Learning, the Instructional Technology Center, Library Services, the Center for Learning, Academic, and Student Success (CLASS), TRIO Student Support Services, and Manuel Blanco Writing and Research Center.
