One of the most awaited family-friendly events of the year made its grand return this year after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
The Laredo College annual Family Fun Fest & Musicale brought together people of all ages for an afternoon of fun on Saturday, Feb. 11 at the Laredo College Ft. McIntosh Campus.
Admission was free and open to the public, with community members throughout Laredo and surrounding areas enjoying this fun-filled outing.
This annual Washington’s Birthday Celebration event offered entertainment, food and excitement for the entire family. With an overwhelmingly positive response every year and a massive turnout, this spring event has become a cherished annual tradition for the many people across South Texas.
Among the many activities available, this great event offered live music, performances from talented dancers, inflatable rides, a petting zoo with exotic animals, carnival rides and much more.
Attendees won a variety of prizes by simply participating and enjoying free games in booths operated by LC employees, student clubs and community organizations.
This exciting event offered community members a family-friendly environment where they created everlasting memories.
