At a press conference on Tuesday, Laredo College announced that Falcon International Bank will serve as the first-ever sponsor of the college’s highly-anticipated Fall Fest.
The $40,000 two-year sponsorship designates Falcon International Bank as the exclusive title sponsor for the 2023 and 2024 Laredo College Fall Fest, held annually on the grounds of the Laredo College South Campus.
The 2023 Fall Fest is slated for Saturday, Oct. 14 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. This free event brings people together for an afternoon of lucha libre, live music, free games and activities, delicious food, a Halloween costume contest and much more.
In attendance for this important announcement were Laredo College President Dr. Minita Ramírez, Laredo College Board of Trustees President Lupita Zepeda, South Campus Dean Priscilla Medina and other LC administrators. Representing Falcon Bank President and CEO Gilbert Narvaez Jr. were Falcon Bank First Vice President of Marketing Jaclyn De La Viña-Mendez and Falcon Bank Vice President of Executive Offices Natalie Hernandez.
Other special guests to kick off this event included luchadores from Lucha Maniaks, the Laredo College Palomino and children from the college’s Camilo Prada Child Development Center.
With thousands of attendees each year, this annual event has become a cherished tradition for Laredoans and people in the surrounding areas. The event promises an exciting afternoon full of free fun for people of all ages.
