LC holds Law Enforcement Academy graduation ceremony

The Laredo College Regional Law Enforcement Academy Class B-22 cadets were honored during their graduation among members of the community and representatives of the different law enforcement agencies throughout the city and surrounding counties. The ceremony was held on Friday at the Guadalupe and Lilia Martinez Fine Arts Center in the Fort McIntosh Campus.

The graduation ceremony saw 23 candidates join the ranks of hundreds who have moved forward from this prestigious academy through the sponsorship of a local law enforcement agency; taking one step closer to protecting and serving all of the residents of the community. The sponsoring agencies included the Laredo Police Department, Webb County Sheriff’s Office, Zapata County Sheriff’s Office, Jim Hogg County Sheriff’s Office and the Webb County Constable Pct. 2.
