The Webcam Testing Lab in LEAC 304 is available for students who need to take a test. No food or beverages are allowed.
The testing lab availability is listed below.
Monday - Thursday: 8 AM - 7 PM
Friday: 8 AM - 11 AM
Saturday: 8 AM - 1 PM during Fall and Spring semesters only. (The testing lab is closed on Saturdays during Maymester, both Summer Sessions, and Wintermester.)
Webcam Lab Testing Guidelines
Students taking online classes are required to test from home using Respondus Monitor. The LEAC 304 Webcam Testing Lab is available to students who do not have a webcam, and students must abide by the following:
- Students are required to bring a Picture ID (Palomino ID, Driver's License, etc.) to test.
- Children and visitors are NOT allowed in the Testing Lab.
- For Regular Exams, students MUST ARRIVE 1 hour before closing. View the eLearning Center Hours of Operation
- For Final Exams, students MUST ARRIVE 2 hours before closing.
- Students are NOT allowed to leave the testing lab once an exam has started.
- Cell phones, smartwatches, and other electronic devices MUST be turned OFF and put away.
- Hats, hoods, and sunglasses are NOT allowed.
- Instructors must pre-approve the use of scratch paper, books, eBooks, calculators, or notes for the exam. Scratch paper used while taking an exam will be discarded before leaving the lab. The use of cell phone calculators is prohibited.
- Students are NOT allowed to copy/print any portion of the exam or ask for assistance with the exam unless they experience a technical problem.
NOTICE!
If a student is caught cheating or using their cell phone/smartwatch, the exam will be immediately terminated, and the incident will be reported to the instructor.
