Course Overview

This program prepares participants to work effectively in early childhood education settings by teaching key principles of child development, health and safety, and classroom management. Instruction also covers how to support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth while guiding students in developing a professional portfolio required for CDA credentialing.

Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate of Completion

Purpose:
This program equips students with the knowledge and skills to earn the nationally recognized CDA Credential, which is essential for employment in daycare centers, preschools, and early learning environments.

Registration Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Additional Notes

The CDA program provides hands-on training and classroom instruction designed to prepare participants to support young children’s development effectively. Graduates will be ready to apply for the CDA Credential through the Council for Professional Recognition.
