Financial aid helps students and their families pay for college. Financial assistance can cover educational expenses including tuition, fees, books and supplies. There are several types of financial aid that combined form your financial aid package.
It is the intent of Laredo College, within the limits of its resources to provide financial assistance to students, especially those who without such aid would be unable to attend college.
A basic premise of financial aid programs is that the main responsibility for meeting college costs lies with the family; thus, Laredo College can only be expected to assist with the cost of attendance. In the following pages we attempt to familiarize you with our staff, policies, procedures, programs, and to answer the questions concerning financial aid most frequently asked by students, parents, and other interested persons.
