Eligibility

Potential participant must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or can provide evidence from the Immigration and Naturalization Service of his or her intent to become a permanent resident.

 

Student must demonstrate financial need and be a potential first-generation college student or be a high risk for academic failure.

 

At the time of initial selection, the potential student must have completed eighth grade and is at least 13 years old but not older than 19.

 

Students must be part of our five target high schools:

  • Leo Cigarroa High School

  • Joseph W. Nixon High School

  • Lyndon B Johnson High School

  • Raymond & Tirza Martin High School

  • United South High School
