ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must submit the following items for admission:
Domestic Students
International Students with Visa Requirements
- Submit an Admissions Application
- Submit Official Final College/University Kardex - if applicable
- Submit Laredo College Financial Statement form
- Submit Laredo College Bank Affidavit form
- Copy of Current Passport

Note: Please allow three to five business days for your application to be processed. Upon collecting all required documents, a letter of admission will be issued with specific instructions about the next steps. Also, some programs may have a secondary admission policy. Becoming accepted guarantees admission to Laredo College but does not guarantee admission to a particular major that has additional admission requirements.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

- Texas Success Initiative (TSI) 2.0 Test - if applicable
- Proof of Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination (under the age of 22 only)

Application Process
Follow the next steps for a successful application process:
- Go to www.applytexas.org
- Create your account and verify it via email
- Log in and complete your profile
- Select "Start/Edit Applications"
- Select "Start New Application" and click on “Two-Year Community/Junior College” option
- Select “Laredo College” and the type of application “Two-Year” option
- Select Semester of Entry
- Select your Major
- Click on “Admission Application” and complete the remaining sections
- Then, click on “Questions specific to Laredo College” and complete the remaining sections
- Certify Application and Proceed to Submit
- Select “Submit This Application”
Please use our Change of Admission Information form if you require changes to your application, such as changing your entry term, major, or personal information. Allow three to five business days for processing.

Transcripts
Laredo College accepts most electronic transcripts, including Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, and EDI/SPEEDE. Laredo College does not accept any emailed high school or college transcripts sent directly from the student/parent. Bacterial Meningitis Vaccine
Evidence of Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination
All students under 22 taking classes at an institution of higher learning must submit proof of vaccination against bacterial meningitis. The vaccine requirement will not be used for admissions but for registration purposes. Proof of meningitis must be submitted at least 10 days prior to the first-class day. Learn More.

If the applicant meets one of the following criteria, the TSI Assessment (TSIA) will not be required, and will be eligible to enroll in college-level courses relevant to their program and major.

Proof of Residency
Students may be asked for proof of residency during the application process. If the student is selected for residency verification, the student may experience a delay in the admissions process. Laredo College encourages students to complete this step as early as possible. Contact the Office of Admissions to schedule your next appointment, or visit our website to learn more about residency.
