LC inaugurated digital marquees donated by Uni-Trade Group
Laredo College and the Uni-Trade Group have established a partnership to enhance and strengthen the educational and service needs of the Laredo community. On Monday, July 29, LC held an official unveiling ceremony for the two electronic marquees that were generously donated by our Uni-Trade partners.
Last year, LC received a $154,995 donation from the Uni-Trade Group for the purchase of the two electronic marquees, one for each of our campuses. This historic accomplishment not only adds ambiance to our college, but it also keeps our students and the community informed about college news, local events and other important announcements.
Additionally, the advertisements sold to local businesses will be geared toward scholarships for our students. Laredo College President Ricardo J. Solis and Uni-Trade Group CEO Eduardo Garza Robles joined LC executives and community members for the ceremony.
