The Laredo College Health Sciences Division is well-known for delivering quality education through dedicated and caring faculty who promote student learning and engagement using state-of-the-art equipment to prepare graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to enter the workforce as healthcare professionals.
The college invites prospective students and community members to an open house on Monday, Oct. 21, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the LC South Campus College of Health Sciences Building, located at 5500 South Zapata Highway.
This event highlights Laredo College’s commitment to quality education, featuring dedicated faculty and state-of-the-art equipment across eight in-demand programs:
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN)
- Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Emergency Medical Services
- Medical Assistant
- Physical Therapist Assistant
- Radiologic Technology
- Vocational Nursing
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore various healthcare career pathways, participate in skill demonstrations and engage in interactive activities and Q&A sessions with faculty and current students.
LC Dean of Health Sciences Dr. Esmeralda Vargas emphasized the importance of this event, noting that it provides an eye-opening experience for those considering a future in healthcare.
