
Through a continued partnership, Laredo College joined the City of Laredo and Workforce Solutions for South Texas for a press conference Tuesday to officially announce the Laredo CARES Spring 2025 Job Fair, an upcoming event aimed at connecting job seekers with hiring employers in the region.
The press conference was held at the Laredo College Ft. McIntosh Campus and featured remarks from Laredo College President Dr. Minita Ramírez, City of Laredo Mayor Dr. Victor Treviño and Workforce Solutions for South Texas Executive Director Rogelio Treviño. They emphasized the importance of workforce development and economic growth, highlighting the opportunities this job fair will provide for local talent and businesses.
Scheduled for Thursday, April 10 from 1 to 4 p.m., the Laredo CARES Spring 2025 Job Fair will bring together employers from various industries looking to fill key positions. Job seekers can access employment opportunities, career resources and professional development support.
“This event is more than just a job fair; it’s a bridge to economic empowerment,” Dr. Ramírez said. “We are committed to equipping our workforce with the tools they need to succeed.”
Dr. Treviño echoed this sentiment stating, “The City of Laredo is proud to collaborate on initiatives like this that directly impact our community’s prosperity.”
