As the golden glow of the sun set its eyes on the historic Ft. McIntosh Campus, graduates, friends and families made their way to the Guadalupe and Lilia Martinez Fine Arts Center Theater for the Laredo College Summer Commencement.
Consisting of two ceremonies, the proud cheers rang loud throughout the campus. As students took their fateful steps on stage toward a brighter future, they were greeted by the Laredo College Board of Trustees, LC President Dr. Minita Ramírez, faculty and staff who lit up with pride.
However, no one illuminated the stoic ceremonies more than the newest graduating class of Palominos. Their cheers roared, their smiles outshined the lights on stage and the determination on their eyes showed a hunger to keep moving forward.
With flowers, cheers, hugs and kisses, Laredo College students concluded this chapter of their lives, but LC remains their home forever.
