The Laredo College Summer 2026 Commencement Ceremonies will take place on Friday, Aug. 7. The two ceremonies will be held at the Laredo Independent School District Performing Arts Center, 2400 San Bernardo Ave. During both ceremonies, proud Palominos will walk across the graduation stage and celebrate the beginning of their next chapter, whether that journey continues at LC or takes them beyond our campuses.
The morning commencement ceremony will begin at 10 a.m., with doors opening at 9 a.m. The ceremony will recognize graduates earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Leadership, as well as those completing certificate and occupational skills award programs.
The afternoon commencement ceremony will begin at 2 p.m., with doors opening at 1 p.m. This ceremony will honor graduates who have completed Associate of Science, Associate of Arts and Associate of Applied Science degrees.

The venue will enforce its clear bag policy, and glass containers, outside beverages and balloons will not be permitted. A gift booth will be available on-site on the day of the ceremony for in-person purchases including flower bouquets, Palomino plushies and more. As with previous commencement ceremonies, a livestream will be available through the college’s social media channels, allowing family and friends who cannot attend in person to share this special milestone.
