Adult Education & Literacy Workforce Preparation programs combine learning, financial assistance, and support services to help you begin training for a rewarding career. 

Classes are co-taught by an expert in the field of study and an Adult Education & Literacy Instructor. Together they help students develop strong skills in reading, writing, and math while they pursue their career training in a supportive classroom environment.

Who can Enroll

  • Must meet Adult Education & Literacy eligibility
  • Must provide proof of residency 
  • Be authorized to work 
  • Had not participated in other Workforce Skills Training with Adult Education & Literacy Department
  • Students must meet basic skills requirements
    • Students must attend Workforce Training and AEL Supplemental courses concurrently
    • Must meet 90% attendance requirement in the Workforce Skills Training
