Employer Spotlight!
🌟 Employer Spotlight: H-E-B Border Talent Team and Dedicated Partners
The H-E-B Border Talent Team and their dedicated trainers have been valued partners of the Division of Community Education. Over the years, they have collaborated with the Department of Continuing Education to deliver customized training courses tailored to H-E-B’s workforce development goals.
Through this partnership, Continuing Education has supported H-E-B’s internal initiatives by offering training aligned with programs like H-E-B YOU, focusing on essential skills such as workplace math and communication. Additionally, Continuing Education has participated in the H-E-B Adelante Training Program by providing English language instruction to employees seeking to improve their communication skills and advance professionally and personally.
This month, H-E-B further demonstrated its commitment to professional growth by graciously allowing the Transtion and Pathways Unit to host their store manager interviews on campus—creating opportunities for over 20 internal candidates to interview for promotional roles within the company.
We thank H-E-B for their continued partnership, dedication to employee development, and investment in our community’s workforce success.
