Laredo College has been closely monitoring the weather forecast for Webb County and surrounding areas for next week. After careful assessment and consideration, the college will continue normal operations on Monday, Jan. 20. Both campuses will close on Tuesday, Jan. 21. All activities, classes and services will be canceled for the day. Normal operations will resume on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. We urge everyone in our community to remain vigilant and heed the advice of local authorities.

Community Education at Laredo College dedicates itself to providing accessibility to lifelong learning to improve the education of the community. Individuals can enhance their lives and communities through adult education and through the various workforce programs made available by the Adult Education and Literacy and Continuing Education Departments, these departments provide opportunities for creating a pathway to higher education or to employment. The Cosmetology Program offers a Level I Certificate that will prepare students with the skills and knowledge for a successful career in the Cosmetology Industry. Through Community Education, citizens can develop the skills to overcome the diverse challenges facing our society.
