Welcome to the Community Education Division

About
At Laredo College, the Division of Community Education is committed to making lifelong learning accessible to all members of our community. Our mission is to empower individuals through education, helping them achieve their personal, academic, and professional goals. Through Adult Education, learners can strengthen foundational skills such as literacy, English language acquisition, and GED preparation, building a strong base for future success in education or employment. Our Continuing Education programs offer hands-on, career-focused training designed to quickly prepare students for high-demand jobs in today’s workforce. To support students as they transition beyond our programs, we proudly offer Career Transition & Pathways Unit. This initiative provides guidance and support for students completing Community Education programs, helping them explore next steps such as entering the workforce, pursuing additional education, or advancing in their careers. At Laredo College Community Education, we believe that education changes lives. Our accessible, inclusive programs equip individuals with the tools they need to overcome challenges and contribute meaningfully to their communities. We invite you to explore our programs and begin your path to a brighter future with us.
