About
The Performing Arts & Communication Department at LC encompasses the disciplines of dance, drama, music and speech.Our goal is to prepare students to transfer with a field of study and performance experience which will allow them to pursue their degrees at four-year institutions across Texas and the U.S.
We are also committed to the enrichment of the cultural offerings within the city of Laredo by presenting many cultural events, concerts, master classes and clinics by world renowned faculty, students, and guest artists.
