Welcome to the Laredo College Compliance and Risk Management website. It is my distinct honor to serve as your Vice President of Compliance and Risk Management. It is my hope that this site will provide you with valuable insight into our department, its operations, and our role within the academic environment at Laredo College. As it is with all of our work, we value your feedback and input.Planning and Institutional Effectiveness oversees institution-wide accreditations, assessment, and provides support in developing processes and/or structures in support of the institution's strategic planning process. Our Institutional Research and Planning staff have expertise in a variety of areas from Higher Education trends and best practices to survey development and implementation, data collection and analysis, and assessment as well as other institutional performance-related skills and knowledge.
The Laredo College South campus has served the community for over 15 years. Our programs at the south campus prepare students for careers in a variety of fields in health sciences, child development, criminal justice, culinary arts, and transportation technology. Our South Campus Administration aims to provide the highest caliber student services through a lens of inclusion and compassion.
I personally believe that you cannot effectively provide safety to a community in which you are not an active member. To that end, we place a heavy emphasis on engagement with our community. Campus Police and Safety & Risk services strive for collaboration and partnership in all aspects of our work.
Our approach is rooted in the belief that respect for the dignity of all persons is the goal. As it relates to safety, our goal is to provide an environment where all members of the Laredo College community truly know that they are welcomed. Our staff strive to be a resource for all faculty, staff, students, parents, and visitors.
