Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA)
TASFA is the Texas Application for State Financial Aid and is available for students who do not meet the requirements for the FAFSA based on their residency status. The TASFA Application is for State- Funded Grants only, not Federal. It is recommended that you apply as early as possible due to awarded on a first- come, first- served basis. The Texas Application for State Financial Aid is for students who are non-resident or foreign students. The Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA), which are listed below in English or Spanish are for the 2022-2023 & 2023-2024 (coming soon) Aid Years. - TASFA 2023 - 2024 - English
- TASFA 2023 - 2024 - Spanish
- Verification Group 1
- Proof of Selective Service (males only)
- High School Equivalency Document
- 2021 IRS Tax Return Transcript -student/spouse(if married) and/or parent (s) (if dependent)
- Untaxed Income Statement
For 2022 - 2023 Aid Year, below are the required documents:
- TASFA 2022 - 2023 - English
- TASFA 2022 - 2023 - Spanish
- Verification Group 1
- Proof of Selective Service (males only)
- High School Equivalency Document
- 2020 IRS Tax Return Transcript -student/spouse(if married) and/or parent (s) (if dependent)
- Untaxed Income Statement
Students under the Senate Bill 1528 can be considered for LIMITED funds from the State only (OCTPEG and TEOG).
Student may apply for any available scholarships.
