LEAD Summer Bridge
The LEAD Summer Bridge Program is a FOUR DAY program designed to enhance college readiness and provide valuable support as students begin their Laredo College journey.
What to Expect?
- College Resources: Gain knowledge on campus resources, including support services to ensure a smooth transition into college life.
- Supplies: Free supplies to support your academic journey, including a backpack.

Stipend Opportunity: For your participation, eligible students will receive a $300 stipend. See eligibility requirements below.
*Stipend Eligibility Requirements
-US Citizen or Legal Resident
-Attend all scheduled sessions
-Must be enrolled in the fall semester 2026 (1st term)
-Stipend will be disbursed after September 8, 2026
LEAD Summer Bridge Eligibility Requirements:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- First time in College student
- Enrolled in Laredo College for Fall 2026 (1st term)
- Completed FAFSA Application
- Minimum GPA 2.0 (if acquired college hours in high school)
2026 Summer Bridge Schedule:
Monday, July 27 - Thursday, July 30
9:00am - 4:00pm
Lunch and snacks will be provided all four days of the summer program.
