Potential participant must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or can provide evidence from the Immigration and Naturalization Service of his or her intent to become a permanent resident.
Participant must demonstrate financial need and be a potential first-generation college student or be a high risk for academic failure.
At the time of initial selection, the potential participant must have completed eighth grade and is at least 13 years old but not older than 19.
Participant must attend one of the following high schools:
